Why This Exists

Sending Grace
started with letters.

Letters are incredible. But what do you do in those smaller moments, when someone crosses your mind, when a friend is hurting, when you don't know what to say but you know you should say something?

During COVID, I wrote DukeMom (my grandma) letters every week. But I also texted her every single night, just three words: sleep sweet, DukeMom. A small reminder that someone loved her when I couldn't be there in person.

Writing to DukeMom taught me something: loneliness isn't only in nursing homes. It's your friend whose dog just died. The kid whose parents are splitting up. The parent who just got a hard diagnosis. Everyone has a moment where they need to hear from someone. And when we don't know what to say, we say nothing. But silence can feel like absence. That's a missed opportunity.

This tool is for those moments. The sleep sweets. The thinking-of-yous. The I-don't-know-what-to-says. Pick the situation, we'll give you the words. Because when you don't know what to send, send grace.

A Sending Grace Tool

When you don't know
what to say, send grace.

Pick the moment. We'll give you the words. Copy and send it from your own phone, because grace means more when it comes from you.
